Have continued with my textiles research and now have two powerpoint presentations that I am working on. One for a group of textile artists and the other for my personal art work.
My personal one will be a good resource to use a a visual resume of my work.
The developmental work that I am working on at the moment for my masters project will be created in another presentation to record the progress of my project development.

Worked on research cycles today. Have worked on a document about my research cycle. I have tried to stay on my original track of investigation. This has been difficult at times as there are so many interesting diversions waiting to be investigated.
As others have been discussing and working of their projects it has been interesting to listen to what they are wanting to look at and have looked briefly at some but so much of it is ahead of where I am at the moment.
I have taken notes and will investigate further in the future as they become relevant to my project

Worked during week on update to presentation. Had open discussion with Randy Fisher in Vancouver today about wiki educator.
He talked about Wiki skills basic training programmes, 10 day tutorials, Online Tutorial groups, Educational content with Wiki educator and the network, technical connections and funding resources available. I very interesting afternoon.

Sat down today with D and discussed some ways of presenting a collection of slides in powerpoint for a more professional look.
I have also continued with research within textiles area looking at what is being presented and how textiles is portrayed within the web environment.
Have also been thinking about where to publish my powerpoint when it is finished, also where to place my research when it is completed.
Will look this week at wordpress and wetpaint as possible places.

Heard today about goldwave an open source video editing system. May be useful at a later date. Others are still interested in working with animoto. Lots to investigate. Each day I come I keep hearing about lots of different programmes and software that is available and not enought time with this project to investigate everything. I need to focus on my main goals.

Have been working with my powerpoint presentation over the last few weeks. Have been working of making some design changes.
I have also been continuing to research textile websites on the web to collect information for a database.

Week Three

This week started with a discussion talking about participants projects.
Some of the technical information is really interesting although way beyond my usage at the moment.
There was an interesting discussion about podcasting having heard about it before it was good to have some more information about the process.
The linux operation system was good to see as it appears very user friendly.
My powerpoint presentation is nearly finished and requires some tidying up so hope to finish it next week.
